As Global Head of Learning and Leadership Development for Allianz based out of Munich, I regularly designed and delivered workshops for C-suite business leaders and their employees from around the world at the Corporate Academy on the beautiful Lake Starnberg.
My latest workshop will occur across several weeks in September 2022, for a global financial services company. Senior executive participants will attend from Europe, the US and Singapore to explore professional development options, following a 360 degree and psychometric assessment process that we ran earlier in 2022.
This follows an earlier event in March 2021, which was a 14 hour virtual event scheduled over three days (due to COVID19). With me playing the role of facilitator, we surfaced hidden conflicts in order to resolve frustrations, invited the CEO to talk candidly about his short-term expectations and longer-term vision and I ran several leadership development sessions (using 360 degree feedback, leadership assessments and resilience experiential training).
Result? “Through this workshop we have accelerated our business by 1.5 to 2 years” (COO)
In April 2020 a workshop scheduled for a Life Sciences company based in Munich shifted from being on-site at a Bavarian lake to virtual, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. The content changed from strategic and visionary to more tactical and we made sure that we had some fun and interactive elements to keep the day flowing freely.

Another tailored workshop was for the leadership team of Partner Re, where I facilitated a day’s session in Guildford, UK on which mindset and behaviours are required to underpin the achievement of the company strategy. A special company with a talented group of leaders with heart!
I also tailored a session on behalf of SHL in partnership with Assoknowledge in Rome, Italy, for high potential HR practitioners on becoming more business savvy and measuring the business impact of people practices.
